The DTX detection method includes the steps of: extracting information bits used for performing DTX detection from a feedback signal sent by an uplink terminal, and processing the extracted information bits according to different polarities; obtaining a DTX detection value according to information bits of different polarities; and comparing the DTX detection value with a preset DTX detection threshold value, and determining whether the uplink terminal is in a DTX state according to a comparison result. The scheme provided by the invention utilizes polarity characteristics of information bits to complete DTX detection, can greatly reduce possibilities of false detection and missing detection, and improves the precision of DTX detection, particularly under the condition of a small TBSize.
