The method comprises the steps of obtaining a first voltage value of a direct current bus side of the wind turbine system at the start moment of the preset time period and a second voltage value of the direct current bus side of the wind turbine system at the finish moment of the preset time period; obtaining the voltage change ratio within the preset time period according to the first voltage value and the second voltage value after judging that the first voltage value and the second voltage value are within a range allowed by a grid side converter of the wind turbine system; judging the power supply and demand balance relationship of the wind turbine system according to the voltage change ratio so as to realize condition monitoring for the wind turbine system. The method further comprises a method for calculating the power of the wind turbine system.
