Abstract

The present invention provides a tunnel path computation re-optimization method and device. The method includes the following steps that: the head node of a preset tunnel is configured with a tunnel re-optimization function, and the bandwidth of the preset tunnel is not zero, the head node transmits a path message carrying record router object (RRO) information of the preset tunnel to a downstream node; after the tail node of the preset tunnel receives the path message carrying the RRO information of the preset tunnel, the tail node sends a reserved (RESV) message carrying the RRO information of the preset tunnel to an upstream node; and when the head node of the preset tunnel initiates re-optimization path computation, the head node sends the RRO information of the preset tunnel to a path computation element (PCE). With the method adopted, path information (RRO information) used by a current channel can be obtained assuredly when one tunnel of which the bandwidth is zero initiates re-optimization path computation, and therefore, the path computation success rate of the PCE can be improved.
