Abstract

The invention discloses a nitriding heat treatment process for 38CrMoAlA. The nitriding heat treatment process comprises the following procedures that gas nitriding is adopted, and a three-stage gas nitriding method is adopted, that is, the temperature of a workpiece is slowly increased along with a furnace, heat preservation is conducted for 2 h at 440 DEG C, the temperature is increased to 500 DEG C, heat preservation is conducted for 30 h, the temperature is slowly increased to 560 DEG C, heat preservation is conducted for 24 h, the temperature of the workpiece is slowly decreased to 530 DEG C along with the furnace, heat preservation is conducted for 6 h, and denitriding treatment is conducted; a gas outlet valve is closed, and a gas inlet valve is opened; and the furnace is cooled to 200 DEG C or lower, and the workpiece is discharged out of the furnace and air-cooled. The nitriding heat treatment process is easy to operate and has low requirements for experience of an operator, and the product quality is high.
