Embodiment Construction

[0026] It should be noted that in the following detailed description, in order to clearly and concisely disclose the present invention, the drawings may not be to scale and certain features of the disclosure may be shown in somewhat schematic form.

[0027] With reference to the drawings, a bracket element 1 is described for easy and quick connection of a busbar support cross member 2 supporting a busbar system 3 to a frame 5 of a switchgear, in particular Connected in compartment 6 of the low voltage switchgear.

[0028] The bus bars of each bus bar system 3 are fastened to the bus bar supporting cross member 2 by insulating barriers 70 and are arranged parallel to each other at suitably defined intervals. In particular, the bracket element 1 enables the connection of a supporting cross-member 2 with a "C"-shaped section to a profiled bar 12 (ie a vertical strut or a horizontal cross-piece of the frame 5 ) with two surface-level configurations. In other words, in the followi...

Abstract

Provided is a bracket-element suitable for connecting a busbar-support-cross-member to a switchgear-frame. The bracket-element comprises: a holding-part extending along a first axis and shaped for holding the busbar-support-cross-member along the first axis, the holding-part having a resting-wall for receiving and coupling with a longitudinal base-surface of the support-cross-member; and a connecting-part suitable for coupling with a profile-rod of the switchgear-frame. The connecting-part comprises engaging-means configured for engaging with the profile-rod in a first positioning-configuration (AH) in which the resting-wall is transversely arranged to a longitudinal axis of the profile-rod. The engaging-means are furthermore configured for engaging with the profile-rod in further positioning-configurations (OP1; OP2) in which the resting-wall lies on respective planes (P1; P2) which are parallel to the longitudinal axis and placed at different distances from the longitudinal axis respectively.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a bracket element suitable for easy and quick connection of a busbar supporting cross member to a frame of a switchgear, in particular in a compartment of a low-voltage switchgear. For the purposes of this application, the term switchgear is equivalent to the terms "panel" or "cabinet" or "switchboard". Background technique [0002] In the field of power distribution busbar systems are known which are installed in low-voltage switchgear according to different installation space configurations. A known type of busbar system consists of a conductive busbar made of copper, having a flat shape and a rectangular cross-section, fastened to a "C"-shaped metal supporting cross-member by suitable plastic electrically insulating barriers. These supporting cross members can be connected to the profiled bars of the switchgear frame (i.e. vertical struts and horizontal cross members) by means of several different types of brackets, each ty...
