Provided is a mobile device video watermark embedding and extracting method based on block combination, comprising: blocking video frame images waiting for watermark embedding, with 14 4*8 blocks in one set; embedding one bit of information in each set, and stipulating the binary data successively embedded into 14 4*8 blocks according to the embedded bit value of each set; performing texture analysis on each block to determine whether the block is a gray flat region or a gray complex region; performing embedding operation on each set to obtain video frame images embedded with watermarks; blocking the video frame images embedded with watermarks, with 7 4*16 blocks in one set; calculating the number of pixels in each block of each set which have the pixel grey scale of a fifth column greater than the adjacent pixel grey scale of a sixth column, and the number of pixels which have the pixel grey scale of a 13th column greater than the pixel grey scale of a 14th column; determining the data extracted from blocks; and according to the data sum extracted from blocks of each set, finally determining the bit value extracted from each set.
