Abstract

This invention discloses a video recording method, device, and a terminal. The method comprises the following steps: before recording the video, generating a data cache queue; and, after recording the video to acquire video recording data, storing the acquired data into the data cache queue. The following storing principle is adopted during the storing process: when the data cache queue is full, deleting the video recording data firstly stored in the current data cache queue, and storing the newly acquired video recording data in sequence; and after receiving a recording stop instruction of a user to stop recording, extracting the video recording data from the data cache queue to generate a video file. The method provided by this invention has the following beneficial effects: the acquired video file only contains the video data during the recent user interesting period before recording is finished; the storage space is greatly reduced; the resource utilization rate is improved; the intelligence of the video recording function is improved; and, the satisfaction degree of the user experience is further improved.
