A hypnosis depth detector, comprising: an electroencephalographic electrode, an electroretinographic electrode, a reference electrode, and an analog-to-digital converter, a filtering circuit, and a processor connected in that order. An acceleration sensor is connected to the processor. The electroencephalographic electrode is used for detecting an electroencephalographic signal of a user during sleep. The electroretinographic electrode is used for collecting an electroretinographic signal of the user during sleep. The acceleration sensor is used for detecting a motion signal produced by an arm response of the user. A speaker is used for playing audio to the user. The analog-to-digital converter converts the electroretinographic signal and the electroencephalographic signal to digital signals. The filtering circuit filters the electroretinographic signal and the electroencephalographic signal at a low frequency and outputs the filtered signals to the processor. The processor is used for determining, on the basis of the electroencephalographic signal, the electroretinographic signal, and the motion signal, a current hypnosis depth of the user.
