Abstract

Provided is a disposable body warmer which suppresses an unpleasant smell from iron powder, exhibits a fragrance effect using a fragrance, and is capable of maintaining stable heat generation. In a storage pouch 1 having air permeability, a heating composition including iron powder, activated carbon 3, salts, a water-absorbing resin, and water, a fragrance 4, and a fragrance adsorption inhibitor 5 that inhibits adsorption of the fragrance 4 to the activated carbon 3 are encapsulated. The fragrance adsorption inhibitor 5 includes a low active substance which has an iodine adsorption capacity lower than that of the activated carbon 3. The low active substance is an activated carbon precursor before an activation process and is preferably material ash.
