Problems solved by technology

Third, when the UE moves from within the coverage area to out of the coverage area, the communication between the remote UE and the eNodeB (evolved Node B, evolved Node B) is switched from the previous RRC connection to that of the relay UE through the PC5 interface. In turn, the time spent in this process will generate business interruption

Abstract

The disclosure relates to electronic equipment in a wireless communication system and a wireless communication method. A plurality of cells exist in the wireless communication system; and the plurality of cells comprise a current cell and at least one neighbor cell. The electronic equipment comprises a transceiver, a first trigger circuit, a second trigger circuit and one or a plurality of processing circuits, wherein the first trigger circuit is configured to enable the transceiver to carry out first measurement reporting so as to assist in starting a relaying process for enabling the electronic equipment to communicate with the current cell via relay user equipment; the second trigger circuit is configured to enable the transceiver to carry out second measurement reporting so as to assist in starting a switching process for switching the electronic equipment to the neighbor cell from the current cell; and each processing circuit is configured to control the first and second trigger circuits so as to enable the transceiver to carry out first measurement reporting before carrying out second measurement reporting. By using the electronic equipment and the wireless communication method according to the disclosure, the continuity and effectiveness of switching can be improved, switching is guaranteed to be effectively carried out, and a signaling load of a network is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of wireless communication, and in particular to an electronic device in a wireless communication system and a method for performing wireless communication in the wireless communication system. Background technique [0002] This section provides background information related to the present disclosure which is not necessarily prior art. [0003] When a UE (User Equipment, user equipment) moves from a serving cell to an adjacent cell, a handover process will be initiated. When handover is performed, the UE will disconnect the RRC (Radio Resource Control, radio resource control) connection with the source cell, and establish the RRC connection with the target cell. [0004] In the traditional handover process, for example, the following problems may exist. First, when the UE moves across the cell at high speed, the SINR (Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio, Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio...
