Abstract

The invention relates to a new intersected composite chaotic color image encryption algorithm which can rapidly encrypt an original image. The algorithm mainly relates to two kinds of chaotic encryption ideas, namely, spatial domain scrambling and pixel value diffusion. The algorithm carries out pixel scrambling and diffusion after a to-be-encrypted color image is subjected to pretreatment. The algorithm applies a composite new chaotic encryption sequence to an image encryption method which carries out scrambling, diffusion and re-scrambling. The experiment shows that the algorithm has high safety than other algorithms in color image encryption.
