Abstract

The invention provides a method of indoor positioning through combination of WIFI and pedestrian dead reckoning (PDR). The method is characterized in that the initial position of the object to be measured is obtained through a WIFI positioning subsystem, after the initial position of the object to be measured is acquired, the two sets of positioning subsystems such as a WIFI positioning subsystem and a PDR positioning subsystem respectively output the positions of the object to be measured, a time window utility function is used for effective linear weighting of coordinates output by the WIFI positioning subsystem and the PDR-based positioning subsystem, and after weighting, the coordinates are processed by Kalman filtering so that global positioning coordinates of mixed WIFI and PDR are obtained.
