Abstract

The invention provides a device for receiving broadcast. In one embodiment, the device comprises multiple antennas for receiving broadcast signals, a signal evaluation unit configured to evaluate the quality of the received broadcast signals, a phase tuning unit coupled with at least one of the antennas and configured to adjust the phase difference among the multiple antennas, and a control unit configured to control the phase tuning unit to improve the quality. The device allows a user to use the existing wire of an earphone and the like to serve as an antenna for a portable multifunctional device, and the performance of the broadcast is improved through tuning the phase difference among the wires. The invention also provides a method of receiving the broadcast and a portable multifunctional device.
