According to the detection method, a principle of wavelength dispersibility is utilized, a Polaroid (31) in a polarization analyzer (3) is rotated by taking a preset angle as an interval, light emitted by the circular polarization panel (1) enters a spectrometer (5) through the Polaroid (31) and a depolarization filter disk (33), the spectrometer (5) is used to measure a full spectrum every time the Polaroid (31) is rotated, and the circular polarization length and the circular polarization delay magnitude can be calculated according to full-spectrum data measured by the spectrometer (5). Thus, the circular polarization feature of the panel can be measured rapidly and accurately, the quality of the circular polarization panel can be evaluated, and a process of a circular polarization panel module is monitored effectively.
