Abstract

The invention relates to an LTE-Hi small cell on-off control method based on business capacity assessment, and belongs to the technical field of LTE-Hi system small cell on-off control. A small cell cluster set with the business volume satisfying a certain preset condition is grouped according to a mean value iterative computing way based on the assessment and processing on the business capacity of multiple small cells in a small cell cluster by a macro base station, the small cell cluster set is divided into a small cell sub-set which is should be turned off and the small cell sub-set always maintained in turn-on status, thereby triggering an on-off operation of the small cell. The invention provides a small cell on-off control scheme which is effective, easy to realize and has high energy efficiency, some unnecessary or invalid small cell opening status can be effectively evaded, and the demand of the business change can be responded, the corresponding off small cell can be fast turned on; and the control method disclosed by the invention can be used as a reality solution scheme of the LTE-Hi small cell on-off control.
