Abstract

The invention discloses a data storage method and device which are applied to a data storage system. The data storage system comprises a mobile terminal and a cloud server, wherein a cloud client is installed in the mobile terminal; the data storage device comprises an original data acquisition module through which the cloud client acquires original data to be stored of a user, a key generation module for randomly generating a key for the original data according to a preset key generation algorithm, a homomorphic encryption module for carrying out homomorphic encryption on the original data according to the key and a preset homomorphic encryption algorithm to obtain encrypted data, and a cloud storage module for uploading the encrypted data to the cloud server for storage. Compared with the prior art, the data storage device disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the data stored on the cloud server are data encrypted through the homomorphic encryption algorithm, so that the cloud server can directly operate the encrypted data without decrypting the data; therefore, the risk of leakage of the original data is avoided, and the security of cloud storage is improved.
