Abstract

The retina image exudation area segmentation method is executed in a computing device, and comprises: obtaining a retina image to be segmented, performing contrast enhancement of the image, and obtaining an enhanced image; performing filtering processing of the enhanced image to extract the background image of the retina image; taking the difference of the color value of each pixel in the background image and the color value of the corresponding pixel in the enhanced image, and obtaining a difference image; obtaining a bright area image comprising a bright area in the retina image according to the RGB color value of each pixel in the difference image, wherein the bright area comprises an optic disk area, an exudation area and a bright noise area; determining the optic disk area from the retina image, and removing the area from the bright area image to obtain an optic disk image; and determining the bright area image from the enhanced image, and removing the area from the optic disk image to obtain the exudation area of the retina image.
