Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for navigation of a moving object in a building based on a video monitoring network. The method comprises the following steps that a navigation server obtains final position information of the moving object and sends an image sample of the moving object to a network video monitoring system; the network video monitoring system captures a target video image according to the image sample, obtains current position information of the moving object according to the target video image and sends the current position information to the navigation server; and the navigation server generates global navigation path information according to a topological structure diagram of the building, the current position information and the final position information, sends a motion adjustment command to the moving object according to the global navigation path information and adjusts a motion direction of the moving object according to the position of the moving object until the moving object arrives at the destination. According to the method, the navigation server realizes navigation of the moving object in the building through the network video monitoring system, so that the moving object arrives at the destination quickly, and the intelligence level of the building is improved.
