The robot for cleaning the keyboard comprises a chassis, a sliding plate, a base, a worktable, a first keyboard clamp, a second keyboard clamp, a third keyboard clamp, a fourth keyboard clamp, a control module, a moving module, an infrared distance meter and a cleaning module, wherein the moving module comprises a first motor, a first lead screw, a second motor, a second lead screw, a third motor and a third lead screw; with the adoption of the moving module the slide plate can be controlled to move relative to an axis x of the chassis, the base can be controlled to move relative to an axis y of the sliding plate, and the worktable can be controlled to move relative to an axis z of the base; the first keyboard, the second keyboard clamp, the third keyboard clamp and the fourth keyboard clamp are matched with each other to fix the keyboard to be cleaned to be above the worktable; the infrared distance meter is used for metering the distance from the keyboard surface to be cleaned to the top part of the worktable; the cleaning module is arranged on the top part of the worktable; the control module is used for controlling the first motor, the second motor, the third motor and the cleaning module to work according to the metered data of the infrared distance meter.
