Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for deploying a database in a cloud computing management platform. The method comprises the steps of receiving a first message for establishing a first database based on a bare metal server and determining a matched bare metal server according to the first message; sending a mirror image file and a configuration file corresponding to a type and version information of the first database to the matched bare metal server in response to a mirror image obtaining request sent by the matched bare metal server; and receiving a connection request of a proxy assembly after an operating system in the data mirror image file is successfully installed in the matched bare metal server, and establishing communication connection with the first database on the matched bare metal server. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, through deployment of the database based on the bare metal server to the bare metal server in the cloud computing management platform, demands of high performance business are satisfied, and the service level in the cloud computing management platform is improved.
