Abstract

The invention relates to an upgrading method for a cluster system, an active main board and the cluster system. The method comprises the steps that after a smoothing upgrading instruction on a to-be-upgraded data plane in the cluster system is received, a service cable clip plate of an original cable clip frame is informed to close a traffic output port corresponding to the to-be-upgraded data plane; line connection information of the to-be-upgraded data plane is checked; and on the condition that it is determined that line connection of the to-be-upgraded data plane passes checking, the service cable clip plate of the original cable clip frame is informed to open the traffic output port corresponding to the to-be-upgraded data plane. According to the upgrading method for the cluster system, the active main board and the cluster system, zero packet loss can be achieved in the upgrading process of the cluster system, therefore, the reliability of the cluster system can be guaranteed, and wire-speed forwarding can be guaranteed in the upgrading process of the cluster system.
