The level conversion circuit includes a level conversion chip and an overcurrent protection starting circuit,wherein the overcurrent protection starting circuit includes an acquisition module, a comparator, a switch tube and a first divider unit; during the working process, the acquisition module acquires the constant voltage high potential to increase the voltage of the in-phase input terminal of the comparator; and when the voltage of the in-phase input terminal of the comparator is greater than one reference voltage, the comparator outputs high level to conduct the switch tube, and enables the detection terminal of the level conversion chip to be grounded through the first divider unit so as to enable the level conversion chip to start overcurrent protection, so that the starting time of the level conversion chip can be delayed, and the level conversion circuit can effectively error trigger ofovercurrent protection because of the big current which is generated when the liquid crystal display apparatus is started.
