Abstract

The invention discloses an LED lamp system based on a DMX512 protocol. Each LED lamp includes a plurality of sub-lamps, and each sub-lamp includes a light source driving unit and an LED light. Each light source driving unit in each LED lamp is connected to a power line through a data and command signal input end, and the light source driving units are sequentially in series connection with one another through address lines; the LED lamps are sequentially in series connection with one another through address lines; a DMX512 controller includes a physical address configuration module for conducting physical address configuration on the light source driving units in all the sub-lamps through RS485 data buses and a logical address configuration module for conducting logical address configuration on the physical address of each light source driving unit. The invention further discloses an address configuration method of the LED lamp system based on the DMX512 protocol. By means of the method, the quantity of LED lamps controlled by one DMX512 controller can be increased.
