Abstract

The method includes: preprocessing the whole car in different sealedcabins and under different conditions; collecting the gas sample in each compartment of the car after the preprocessing; using a gas chromatograph to perform substance separation on the each gas sample to obtain two paths of gas sample, processing one path with a gas chromatography and mass spectrometer to acquire material concentration-time spectrum, subjecting the other path to manual odor-intensity smelling and distinguishing, and using a smelling and distinguishing instrument to generate odor intensity-time spectrum; acquiring the time point when the odor intensity is larger than preset intensity, and searching for substances which cause the odor of the compartments and are called odorous substances from the material concentration-time spectrum on the basis of the time point. Comparedwith a subjective assessing method referencing VAD270, the man-machine-integrated method for assessing the odor sources in the car is high in assessment standard consistency, real and objective.
