The measuring part in the apparatus comprises a laser pen and a screw micrometer, during measuring, the screw micrometer is rotated so that the tip of the micrometer moves upward, the tail part of the laser pen which is in contact with the screw micrometer is pushed to rotate around afixed axis accordingly, the laser pen and the light ray form the optical lever, and the distance from a mirror surface ruler to a measuring apparatus can be measured by measuring the movement distance of the tip of the screw micrometer, the arm length of the laser pen and the movement distance of a laser point on the mirror surface ruler.
