Problems solved by technology

However, when there are a large number of targets in the field of view to form a many-to-many assignment, and the target mismatch is caused by the difference in the detection performance of radar and infrared sensors, the computational complexity of the traditional method increases rapidly, and the matching performance drops seriously.

Abstract

The invention discloses a TOM (Target Object Map) matching method based on a geometric topology structure. The method comprises steps: a radar and an infrared sensor are used to observe a target group, the radar acquires the tracked position information of a target in the group, and the infrared sensor acquires the detection information of the target in the group; the tracked position informationacquired by the radar is converted to an infrared focal plane coordinate system; a distance and angle dividing criterion for a polar coordinate is set; a preset model is built for extracting ODT features of the target group in the radar sensor and the infrared sensor; an ODT feature correlation matrix for a radar target map and an infrared target map is acquired; and based on an ODT feature matching module, matching between a radar target and an infrared target is completed. The TOM matching performance can be enhanced in a condition of target mismatch (that is, the target numbers observed bythe two sensors are different).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for matching TOM diagrams, in particular to a method for matching TOM diagrams based on geometric topology. Background technique [0002] When the radar and the infrared sensor observe the same target group, in order to obtain more information, the relative position, speed, characteristics, identification marks and other information of the target in the group obtained by the radar, that is, the target feature vector map (Target ObjectMap, TOM) , and the detection information of the target is fused with the infrared sensor. Before information fusion, it is first necessary to match and correlate the targets observed by the radar and infrared sensors to ensure the identity of the targets. Due to different sensor viewing angles, the target groups observed by radar and infrared sensors have different mutual positional relationships, but they are all projections of the same target group in different line-of-sight directions...
