Abstract

The invention discloses an FPGA-based high-speed demodulation apparatus and method of a weak fiber grating. An FPGA is used for carrying out parallel processing on multi-channel data and carrying outparallel pipeline processing on each channel. The demodulation apparatus is composed of an ADC device and an FPGA device. Each channel of the FPGA device consists of an ADC sampling module, a data accumulation module, a grating positioning module, a spectrum splicing module, and a wavelength demodulation and sending module. The ADC sampling module is used for receiving data of the ADC device, carrying out triggering and collection of n data along a rising edge of a pulse, wherein each cycle has m pulses and each channel collects m*n data within one cycle. The data accumulation module is used for accumulating the collected data according to columns. The grating positioning module is used for carrying out peak searching on the accumulation and sequence. The spectrum splicing module is used for extracting respective spectrums from each grating space position based on grating spatial position information. The wavelength demodulation and sending module is used for carrying out peak searching on grating spectrums to obtain wavelengths of all gratings and sending out demodulation results.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of fiber grating sensing, in particular to an FPGA-based high-speed demodulation device and method for weak fiber gratings. Background technique [0002] Due to the advantages of strong multiplexing capability, low crosstalk, and high cost performance, weak fiber gratings are widely used in the fields of fire alarm, safety fence and other sensing and monitoring. The weak fiber grating sensor network has a long detection distance and high spatial resolution, and the amount of data that needs to be stored and processed is very large. Now the traditional sequential processing method is to collect data through the data acquisition unit, store the collected data and then transmit it to the data processing unit The demodulation process is carried out, but the storage of collected data and the data transmission between the data acquisition unit and the data processing unit become bottlenecks for further improving the sensing...
