Abstract

The invention discloses a fixed point image analysis-based riverway floatage detection method. The method comprises the four steps of riverway background modeling, image registration, riverway water body part extraction and exception detection. In the background modeling link, a background modeling algorithm is used for performing ideal background image extraction on a fixed point image sequence of a riverway; in the image registration link, perception image and ideal image registration is performed based on a result of an image feature point extraction algorithm; in the riverway water body part extraction link, a riverway water body part in the image is extracted based on an intensity feature (I value) of a hue, saturation and intensity (HSI) space, and riverside continuity judgment criteria; and in the exception detection link, a gray-gradient of neighboring patch (GoNP)-based exception detection algorithm is designed for performing floatage detection. Floating pollutants can be automatically detected out in the riverway image, so that the misjudgment of manual visual inspection due to environments or human factors is reduced and the labor cost is reduced.
