Abstract

The invention relates to a microbial growth promoter for completion of nitrification. The microbial growth promoter comprises at least one glycolipid selected from a group consisting of trehalose lipid, sophorolipid, rhamnolipid and the like, wherein the sophorolipid comprises lactone type sophorolipid and acid type sophorolipid; and the microbial growth promoter preferably comprises sophorolipid,more preferably, acid type sophorolipid. The invention also provides application of the microbial growth promoter. The microbial growth promoter can be used for cultivation of nitrification bacteria,and can be directly added into a sewage treatment system including a nitrification unit to increase the ammonia and nitrogen removal effect of the sewage treatment system; and the microbial growth promoter can also be used for rapid start-up of a nitrification procedure of an ammonia-containing system and for rapid recovery of impacted systems. The promoter is simple in formula and easy to prepare; when applied to nitrification, the promoter allows nitrification bacteria in slow growth to rapidly grow and breed in a short period of time; and the cultured bacteria has the characteristics of high activity, good flocculation performance, long usage time, strong impact tolerance, etc.
