Abstract

Provided is a system for remote on-line monitoring and intelligent diagnosis of a high-speed wire rod mill. The system comprises a sensor network, a central node, an industrial control computer (on-site processor), and a monitoring and diagnosis center. The sensor network is a sub-network formed by data collection equipment in a mill train. Data collected by the data collection equipment is transmitted to the industrial control computer. The industrial control computer performs denoising and transformation processing while storing the data. The industrial control computer determines whether the high-speed wire rod mill has faults or not by the processed data, that is, performs pre-diagnosis, and outputs a result. If the result output by the industrial control computer determines the high-speed wire rod mill has faults, the data is transmitted to a monitoring and diagnosis center. Otherwise, the industrial control computer does not transmit the data to the monitoring and diagnosis center. After the monitoring and diagnosis center receives the data that the high-speed wire rod mill has faults, the monitoring and diagnosis center further analyzes the pre-diagnosis of the industrial control computer, and outputs a result.
