The algorithm, through image bit full permutation,finishes two operation of pixel bit position scrambling and pixel value substitution within a full matrix range, and mainly comprises the following steps: 1) selecting chaotic mapping; 2) carrying outa chaotic encryption algorithm; and 3) carrying out a decryption algorithm. The algorithm is characterized by selecting chaos as the principle of image bit full permutation, that is, selecting chaotic mapping suitable for image scrambling according to chaotic information entropy; then, converting the image into a binary bit string for full permutation, and under drive of the selected chaos, and by utilizing unpredictable characteristics of a chaotic orbit, finishing maximum degree of scrambling; and finally, according to the chaos mapping principle, designing an image bit replacement algorithm, and finishing an image scrambling and replacement encryption algorithm. The image encryption algorithm not only has high degree of scrambling, weak correlation and high sensitivity, but also can effectively resist difference attack.
