Abstract

The invention provides a method and equipment for detecting equivalent loads of wind turbine generators. The method comprises the steps that in each detection period, environmental data of each wind turbine generator in a wind power plant are detected; in each detection period, the loads of one or more wind turbine generators for correction in the multiple wind turbine generators are detected, thedetected loads are used for calculating the equivalent loads of the wind turbine generators for correction, a load estimation model is used based on the detected environmental data of each wind turbine generator to determine the equivalent load of each wind turbine generator, wherein the load estimation model represents the relation between the environmental data of the wind turbine generators and the equivalent loads, before the load estimation models are used in each detection period, the equivalent loads calculated in the current detecting period and the equivalent loads of the wind turbine generators used for correction and determined through the load estimation model in a prior detecting period are used for correcting parameters of the load estimation models. By means of the method and equipment, accurate detection of the equivalent loads is achieved with the relatively low cost.
