The invention provides a method for repairing vehicle-mounted station reporting missing data in a urban public transportation system based on maximum probability estimation aiming at the problem of data missing existing in a urban public transportation vehicle-mounted station reporting system. The method comprises the steps that a maximum probability estimation model taking travel time as a posterior condition parameter set is constructed by analyzing the characteristics of the missing data and the card swiping behavioral characteristics of public transportation passengers and combining with historical data, and the missing data of automatic station reporting devices in the public transportation system is correctly deduced with the help of the card swiping data of the passengers. By meansof the method, the defect that positioning failure and communication package loss easily occur on the public transportation vehicle-mounted automatic station reporting system due to the influence of urban architecture building shadow effect resulting in incomplete station reporting information and severely affecting subsequent data excavating effect is overcome, the success rate of public transportation trajectory reduction of the passengers is improved, and the information effectiveness of urban public transportation passenger flow distribution research is enhanced.
