Abstract

The invention discloses an ultra-short light pulse generation device, which is used for solving the problem that an ultra-short light pulse generating scheme cannot generate a stable high-quality chirp-free ultra-short light pulse in the prior art. An embodiment of the invention provides the ultra-short light pulse generation device. The device comprises a laser generating module, a phase modulation module, a first dispersive medium, an intensity modulator, a compensation module and a radio frequency power module. The laser generating module, the phase modulation module, the first dispersive medium, the intensity modulator and the compensation module are connected in sequence; and the radio frequency power module provides a radio frequency signal for the phase modulation module and the intensity modulator respectively. The first dispersive medium can stretch a chirp area in the optical signal processed by the phase modulation module, and cooperate with the intensity modulator driven bythe radio frequency power module, so that nonlinear chirp can be removed effectively; the compensation module can remove linear chirp; and finally, a stable chirp-free ultra-short light pulse can begenerated.
