Abstract

The invention relates to a novel PP (polypropylene) elastomer TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin). The novel PP elastomer TPO is specifically prepared by the following steps of preparing a primary master batch from UHMWPE (ultrahigh molecule weight polyethylene) resin, SiO2 (silicon dioxide) powder, processing oil, an alpha-nucleating agent and an antioxidant by a melting type preparation method; melting and blending the primary master batch, the UHMWPE resin and PP resin according to a proper ratio, so as to obtain a modified material, namely the elastomer TPO. The novel PP elastomer TPO has the advantages that by adopting the melting blending method, the elastomer TPO is added into a PP substrate, so that the anti-impact property and the low temperature-resistant property of the PP resin areimproved; the common plastic double-screw extruder and related equipment can be adopted; the preparation technology and production process of the melting extruding method are suitable for production.
