Abstract

The invention discloses a welded-type integral forged steel piston and a manufacturing process thereof. The welded-type integral forged steel piston comprises a piston head and a piston skirt which are formed by forging and fixedly connected; a closed cooling oil cavity is formed between the piston head and the piston skirt and communicates with the exterior through an oil inlet hole and an oil outlet hole; an annular inner welding shoulder A and an annular outer welding shoulder A are coaxially arranged at the bottom end of the piston head, and an annular inner welding shoulder B and an annular outer welding shoulder B which are matched with the inner welding shoulder A and the outer welding shoulder A correspondingly are coaxially arranged at the top end of the piston skirt; the inner welding shoulder A and the inner welding shoulder B are welded through friction welding to form a main welded seam; and the outer welding shoulder A and the outer welding shoulder B are welded through fusion welding to form an auxiliary welded seam. According to the welded-type integral forged steel piston and the manufacturing process thereof, the structure is reasonable, safety and reliability areachieved, and the production efficiency is high.
