The method comprises the steps of: detecting an electrical parameter value of signalsof a track circuit itself; comparing the electrical parameter value with a reference value, and determining starting of an insulation damaging mechanism; and determining whether insulation damaging isgenerated in a section or not according to the electrical abnormal condition of the track circuit signals in the section.
