The wireless temperature and humidity monitoring node comprises a single chip CC430, a digital temperature and humidity sensor SHT11, a polymer lithium battery, an antenna, a 32.768KHZ low-frequency crystal oscillator, a 26MHZ high-frequency crystal oscillator and a JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) debugging port. The wireless temperature and humidity monitoring node and the monitoring method thereof are easy to install and deploy the environment as well as to maintain or refit, and can switch between dormancy and work, thereby greatly reducing power consumption and effectively avoiding mutual interference between a plurality of nodes.
