The method comprises: a dialog window for machine management is displayed and an input operation is received throughthe dialog window; the operation is analyzed and an actuator corresponding to the operation and a machine set are determined based on the analysis result of the operation, wherein the machine set includes at least one machine; the actuator is invoked and thus the actuator performs the operation for the machine set; and an execution result returned by the actuator is received and the execution result is displayed in the dialog window. Therefore, the flexibility of batch management of the machine and the processing efficiency of the batch operation can be improved; and the resource utilizationrate of the conversational machine management device can be increased.
