The evaporative cooling units are used for making high-temperature gas delivered from the return air duct in direct or indirect contact with low-temperature water of the evaporative cooling units to conduct heat exchange and then delivering the high-temperature gas into the air supply duct. The heat exchanger is used for enabling the high-temperature gas delivered from the return air duct to conduct heat exchange with low-temperature gas in the exhaust duct and the fresh air duct and then delivering the high-temperature gas into the evaporative cooling units. The evaporative cooling system achieves free refrigerating through outdoor cold air to prevent a compressor from being started all the year. The situation that a single evaporative cooling tower system can hardly adapt to extreme weather is also avoided. The effects of energy-saving cooling, high-efficiency heat exchange, accurate control and safe and reliable operation of a container data center are achieved.
