The set top box clouded framework based on a network function virtualization (NFV) comprises a virtual set top box and a virtual set top box client, wherein the south end of the virtual set top box is connected with the at leastone virtual set top box client, and the north end of the virtual set top box is connected with an integrated video platform and a content distribution network (CDN) platform, and the virtual set top box is used for acquiring a content source requested by the virtual set top box client, and converting the content source into audio and video data; and the virtual set top box client is arranged in areal set top box, and used for accessing the integrated video platform via the virtual set top box, and receiving and displaying the audio and video data sent back by the virtual set top box.
