Abstract

The invention discloses an ore particle segmentation method. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring RGBD image information of ores on an ore conveyer belt by adoption of a visible light and infrared sensing depth measurement integrated camera; decomposing the acquired RGBD image information so as to extract a color map and a depth map, and furthermore processing the color map and the depth map; and carrying out statistical analysis on each parameter of a connected domain according to the processing result, so as to obtain an ore particle distribution result. The method is capable of solving the over-segmentation and under-segmentation problems of single images, has relatively high correctness for recognizing large ores, and is capable of improving the applicability.
