Abstract

The invention relates to an ancient writing identification method and system based on deep learning, which comprises the following steps of: obtaining an ancient writing image data set and making a classification label; preprocessing an image in the image data set, and expanding the data set through image augment; extracting feature on the image data set which has been preprocessed and image augmented through a deep neural network, and classifying extracted features through a classifier so as to realize evolution identification of the seal script of different times; and using artificial designfeatures for performing auxiliary training by using template matching method so as to further classify classification results of the classifier. According to the ancient writing identification methodand system based on deep learning, correct classification can be achieved more accurately according to improved deep convolutional neural network model, and performing auxiliary training by virtue ofthe traditional artificial design features, classification accuracy is further improved, and better experience is provided for the user group with ancient writing identification needs.
