According to the method, after analog-to-digital conversion is performed on voltage of a photosensitive circuit, the control circuit reads a digital signal; voltage magnitude is converted to a light strength value n; furthermore n is compared with a preset number M, ifn<M, the control circuit outputs a signal for controlling a load circuit and starting a lamp; every a time period t1, one is added to n, and the n is compared with the M until n>=M, the control circuit outputs a signal for controlling the load circuit, thereby extinguishing the lamp; if n>=M, the control circuit outputs the signal for controlling the load circuit, thereby extinguishing the lamp;and after a time period t2, cycling the process again. According to the control method and the control circuit, brightness of the bulb is continuously adjusted according to different light strength ofthe outer environment, thereby keeping the ambient strength constant and realizing an energy-saving and omission-reduction purpose.
