The novel fire extinguishing agent is composed of, by weight percentage, 1-1.5% of sodium polyacrylate, 0.5-2% of vitamins, 1-2% of polyphenols, 1-3% of ammonium phosphate, 1-3% of carbon, 3-8% of urea, 0.5-2% of acetic acid, 8-13% of ethylene glycol, 0.5-1.5% of triethanolamine, 0.005-0.01% of sodium hydroxide, 0.5-1.5% of benzoic acid, 0.5-2% of polyoxyethylene and 65-75% of water. A preparation method of the novel fire extinguishing agent includes the following steps that (1) a de-solvent, a cosolvent and a food thickening agent arecompletely dissolved in a stirrer; (2) a carbohydrate hydrocarbon surfactant and a penetrating agent are added into a dissolution solution, and uniform stirring is carried out; and (3) a novel nonionic fluorocarbon surfactant, a silicon-containing surfactant, a coupling agent and a foaming agent continue to be added into the stirrer and stirred uniformly, and stirring is carried out for one hour.
