Different from the prior art in which public and private key pairs are distributed to each document issuing party andthe each document issuing party uses the own private key to make a signature on each document, the technical scheme of the document identification method and system based on identity cryptograph generates the private key of the document by using the identification cryptograph algorithm according to the identity of each document and sends the private key to the document issuing party, and the document issuing party makes a signature by using the identity cryptograph algorithm according to the private key of the document so as to generate an anti-counterfeit document and when the signature is identified, the document identity can be directly used as the signature public key of the document for identification.
