Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-wavelength spectrophotometric assay method for measuring contents of hydrogen peroxide on basis of Fenton oxidation and ABTS development. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) establishing a standard curve and a linear regression equation thereof; and (2) measuring content of hydrogen peroxide in a sample. According to the multi-wavelength spectrophotometric assay method, ferrous ions are taken as an activator, and 2'-azino-bis-3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulphonate (ABTS) is taken as an indicator, so that contents of hydrogen peroxide in solution can berapidly detected. According to the method, expensive instrument equipment and reagents are not required, and the measurement requirements can be satisfied through only one common ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometer, so that the measurement cost is reduced, and the method can be widely applied in the industries of environment protection, daily chemical and medical treatment so as to carry outrapid, simple and correct detection on contents of hydrogen peroxide in various oxidized, bleached or disinfected samples.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of hydrogen peroxide detection, and in particular relates to a multi-wavelength spectrophotometric detection method for measuring hydrogen peroxide content based on Fenton oxidation ABTS color development. Background technique [0002] Due to its strong oxidizing ability and environmental protection features, hydrogen peroxide is widely used as oxidant, disinfectant, sterilant and bleaching agent in environmental protection, daily chemical, food, medical and printing and dyeing industries. In addition, hydrogen peroxide can also be activated by transition metal ions, metal oxides, microwave radiation, and ultraviolet radiation to generate hydroxyl radicals with stronger oxidizing ability (E 0 =1.8-2.7V), is widely used in the field of environmental protection, especially in the field of water treatment to remove refractory organic pollutants and inactivate pathogenic microorganisms. In the process of using ...
