The method has the advantages of enlarging the bottom widths of the transverse ribs, increasing the contact areas between the bottoms of thetransverse ribs and base circles, decreasing the root stress states and stress concentration phenomena of the transverse ribs during cold bending of deformed steel bars, and improving the cold bendingcracks at the root parts of the transverse ribs.
