Abstract

The present invention relates to an opening and closing device for a fuel tank, which achieves avoidance or suppression of discharge of fuel when fuel is supplied, while ensuring air permeability at the time of non-fuel supply. The opening and closing device for the fuel tank forms a fuel passage for guiding the supplied liquid fuel to the fuel tank in the passage forming portion, and a fuel supply port is opened and closed by a first valve mechanism disposed in the passage forming portion. An insertion passage of the fuel supply nozzle in the most upstream region of the fuel passage is openedand closed by a second valve mechanism at the end of the passage. On the basis of this, in the non-oil supply condition in which the first valve mechanism closes the fuel supply port, the ventilationbetween the insertion passage communication hole and the external air vent hole is realized. In the oil supply condition in which the first valve mechanism opens the fuel supply port by the oil supply nozzle, the ventilation between the insertion passage communication hole and the external air vent hole is cut off.
