The method for determining opening width of the extrusion-coated gasket comprises the following steps: measuring first elastic modulus of to-be-coated slurry, and determining the opening width of the extrusion-coated gasket according to a quadratic fit curve, wherein the quadratic fit curve is determined according to the following steps: providing various kinds of standard coating slurry; measuring second elastic modulus of various kinds of standard coating slurry;under the same condition, utilizing the extrusion-coated gasket to perform extrusion coating treatment on various kinds of standard coating slurry, thereby obtaining a plurality of battery pole pieces; measuring width y1 of the multiple battery pole pieces; determining a plurality of width difference values according to a formula y=y1-y2, wherein y is a width difference value, and y2 is opening width of the extrusion-coated gasket; fitting based on the multiple width values and the multiple second elastic modulus, thereby obtaining the quadratic fit curve.
